GROW with Mrs. Flowers exists to create compassionate spaces for healing, learning, reflection, and personal growth. Through grief recovery support, education, coaching, writing, and resilience practices, I seek to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life's challenges and opportunities.
My vision is to cultivate greater resilience, connection, and wellbeing—one person at a time. I believe that when individuals heal, learn, and reconnect with their strengths, those positive changes naturally ripple outward into families, communities, and future generations.
Everything offered through GROW is guided by six core values:
Compassion – Meeting people with kindness, respect, and understanding.
Growth – Honoring each person's unique journey of learning, healing, and transformation.
Reciprocity – Practicing generosity, gratitude, and mutual upliftment through the GROW Exchange.
Integrity – Acting with honesty, humility, and respect for personal autonomy and confidentiality.
Coherence – Supporting resilience, reflection, and inner balance.
Lifelong Learning – Remaining curious, creative, and open to continual growth.
Hi, I'm Kimberly Flowers: educator, coach, grief recovery specialist, writer, and lifelong learner.
GROW with Mrs. Flowers was born from a simple belief: healing, learning, resilience, and personal growth are deeply interconnected. Throughout my life, I have been drawn to work that helps people navigate change, discover their strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and hope.
My background weaves together education, coaching, ministry, wellness, leadership, and creative exploration. I graduated with honors from Santa Clara University with a degree in English after spending a summer studying Shakespeare in England. Over the years, I have worked as a journalist, state agency accreditation manager, health coach, catechist, educator, tutor, mentor, and community volunteer (see complete Experience & Credentials below).
Beyond professional training, some of my greatest teachers have been life's experiences: marriage, motherhood, grief, relocation, faith, and personal transformation. My husband and I have been married for nearly twenty years and are raising two wonderful teens while honoring the memory of our son Teddy, who died at birth in 2011. Those experiences have deepened my compassion and strengthened my commitment to walking alongside others with sincerity, hope, and respect.
Originally from Olympia, Washington, my family relocated to Fountain Hills, Arizona in 2021. Today, I divide my time between teaching, coaching, writing, and continuing my own journey of growth and learning.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to help people feel seen, supported, resilient, and empowered to trust themselves as they move through life's challenges and opportunities.
GROW with Mrs. Flowers is intentionally rooted in a slower, more relational approach to growth and support.
This is not a high-pressure coaching model or a traditional transactional business. It is a space built upon reflection, reciprocity, meaningful conversation, emotional safety, and genuine human connection.
My hope is that each person who encounters this work leaves feeling a little more grounded, encouraged, and supported than before.
